Ally Sheedy Bio

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy was born in the US. After her debut film in 1983's Bad Boys, she was part in the Brat Pack cast of actors. She also appeared in WarGames The Breakfast Club and Short Circuit. In recognition of her role on Lisa Cholodenko's High Art Sheedy won the Independent Spirit Award for Best Female Lead. The 12th April 1992, Sheedy married actor David Lansbury who was the cousin to actress Angela Lansbury and son of Edgar Lansbury the original producer of Godspell. Beckett is their son born in 1994. Sheedy has learned a lot from Beckett, who was a transman. Alexandra Elizabeth Ally Sheedy (born June 13 1962) is an American film and stage actress and the writer of two works.
